WOW. We are in awe of the tremendous outpour of support to secure the property for closing. You have given us the confidence to shoot for an even more ambitious goal. We now have just 4.5 hours left to reach our new goal of $218,000! The additional funds will help cover the cost of furnishing the new building!
We're closing on September 30th. We need $180,000 to be able to close on the property.
Please join us in bringing meaningful, relevant & joyous Jewish life experiences to Kenosha and Racine Counties!
Chabad of Kenosha, serving Kenosha and Racine Counties, is, with tremendous thanks to G d and the help of our wonderful supporters, purchasing a gorgeous property for a new Chabad Center. Our new facility is the former Colergét Conference Center in Kenosha. The Center is famous for its beautiful, serene gardens and quiet, sumptuous facilities which serve as a perfect setting for spiritual growth and healing, while at the same time offering state of the art security. Closing is set for September 30th. We have an immediate need of $180,000, toward our fundraising goal of $400,000, to be able to close on the property. Please join us in building a Jewish Future in Kenosha!
This fundraising program is an amazing dollar-for-dollar matching opportunity. Key donors will match every donation that comes in. Another $90,000 raised in this campaign will, thanks to dollar-for-dollar matching, result in the much needed $180,000.
It is with great appreciation that we acknowledge our matchers and the following supporters whose exceptional generosity is anchoring our building fund:
• Joe and Carol Chulew • Tom and Natalie Chulew • Jackie Ellis • Dovid and Gittel Hershkowitz • Marty and Judy Kraemer • Lubavitch of Wisconsin • Dovid and Chaya Roitblat • Wendi Rose • Stern/Rosten Family • Mark and Rosalie Villano• Shmuli and Musy Wolf
We seek to make meaningful, relevant & joyous Jewish life experiences accessible for all. This new community center will bring it all together under one roof, and more, it will bring us together as a community. It will serve as a hub for our community, a place where we can proudly host public & family celebrations, and a place where everyone feels welcome at all times. In this new space, we will continue to expand our various programs to fill the community's needs.
Community Celebrations & Events
To remain centered in an often-chaotic world, we need a foundation that is timeless, yet relevant. Through its design, services and open environment, the Chabad of Kenosha community speaks to all generations. It is complimented by a range of programs and services that meet our contemporary needs for stability, growth, fulfillment, and also connects us with our eternal birthright.
We hope to be a source of light and inspiration, a home to future generations, and continue the growth with which we have been blessed.
We are deeply grateful for any level of support, and we are so thankful for your partnership. Wishing you and yours a healthy, happy, and sweet new year.
