About Us
Chabad does its work with Ahavat Yisrael – an unconditional love and concern for every Jew, regardless of background and affiliation. Its multiple programs provide the education to promote Jewish knowledge and awareness and the means to practice and experience our Jewish heritage. It encourages every positive action on the part of every Jew, and hopes to strengthen the Kenosha Jewish Community by promoting Jewish pride, study, and celebration.
Rabbi Tzali Wilschanski, was born and raised in Morristown, New Jersey. Rabbi Wilschanski received his Bachelor’s degree at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown and his rabbinical ordination from Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, the Chief Rabbi of Israel. While completing his rabbinical and postgraduate studies he spent five years leading services and community outreach in locations in Russia, Australia and across the USA.
Rivkie Wilschanski grew up in Madison, WI. She earned her teacher’s degree majoring in Judaic studies at Machon Shoshana in Jerusalem, Israel. Upon graduating, she was a High School teacher and guidance counselor to young teenagers in Chicago and New York.
The Wilschanski’s are joined by their 2 daughters, Musy & Chana, who have already become important partners in their parents work.
